1. Definitions

“Company” refers to Vanquish Ltd

“Client” refers to the person or business instructing the Company

“Works” refers to plumbing, heating, gas or associated services provided

2. Quotations & Estimates

• Written quotations are valid for 30 days

• Estimates are approximate and may vary

• Additional work not included in the original quotation will be charged separately

• Acceptance of quotation (written or verbal) forms a binding contract

3. Payment Terms

• Payment is due immediately upon completion unless agreed otherwise in writing

• Larger projects may require staged payments

• The Company reserves the right to charge interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act

• Title to goods remains with Vanquish Ltd until paid in full

4. Gas Safe & Compliance

• All gas works will be carried out by a Gas Safe Registered engineer

• Work will comply with:

• Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998

• Building Regulations

• Current British Standards

• Landlord Gas Safety Certificates (CP12) will be issued where applicable

5. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

• Provide safe access to the property

• Ensure pets and children are controlled

• Provide parking where possible

• Disclose known issues relating to plumbing or gas systems

6. Cancellations

• 24 hours’ notice required for cancellations

• Missed appointments may incur a call-out charge

• Special order materials are non-refundable

7. Warranty

• Labour is guaranteed for 12 months unless otherwise stated

• Manufacturer warranties apply to parts and appliances

• Warranty is void if:

• Work is tampered with

• Another contractor alters the installation

• Lack of maintenance is evident

8. Emergency Call Outs

• Emergency rates may apply outside normal working hours

• Minimum charge of 1 hour applies

9. Liability

• The Company holds Public Liability Insurance

• The Company shall not be liable for:

• Pre-existing faults

• Hidden pipework failures

• Consequential loss or damage

• Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence

10. Materials & Parts

• Materials supplied remain property of Vanquish Ltd until paid

• Delays in supply chain are outside Company control

11. Access & Delays

• Delays caused by lack of access or third parties may result in additional charges

• The Company reserves the right to reschedule works due to unforeseen circumstances

12. Data Protection

Vanquish Ltd complies with UK GDPR.

Customer details will not be shared except where legally required.

13. Complaints

Complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of completion.

Vanquish Ltd will investigate and respond within 7 working days.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
